Position:  Water/Wastewater Engineer-In-Training (EIT)

We are seeking an entry level Water/Wastewater Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to work in our Twin Falls, ID office. The ideal candidate will display a solid understanding of water/wastewater system planning and design, as well as a strong ability to communicate with operators and clients.

While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, the successful candidate will:

• Provide engineering support for the development, permitting, planning, reporting, design, and construction of various water, wastewater, irrigation, and stormwater projects with city, county, state, and federal clients.
• Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges.
• Collaborate with other project managers, senior engineers, EITs, operators, planners, public agencies, and contractors on projects. 
• Utilize design tools such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutCAD/Civil3D, GIS, and water/sewer hydraulic models.
• Attend public meetings, forums, and open houses to support senior project managers and engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent is required. 
• Master’s Degree is desired, but not required.
• 0-3 years of experience as an EIT with increasing responsibilities. 
• Certification as Engineer-in-Training (passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft  Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or GIS is desired. 
• Experience with hydraulic modeling is desired, but not required.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and writing skills.

Salary Range: $63,000-$75,000 a year/determined by experience.
